Dina Budginas, who was born in 1941 in Marijampole, Lithuania, discovered her love for art as a child in Germany awaiting emigration to the U.S. in the early 1950's. Dina's formal art studies and nurturing came from schools in Boston and Los Angeles. In Los Angeles she studied at Otis Art Institute and El Camino College, and with various art teachers, one of whom was Richard Klix of Venice, California.

Upon entering a life of domesticity, which included raising four children, Dina's career was put on hold. As years passed, however, Dina developed a clothing and jewelry line, which enabled her to once again continue progressing in fine arts.

Being mostly self-taught, Dina's greatest challenge is through self exploration. Her works have been shown in galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico; Mendocino, California; Kailua Kona, Hawaii; Tucson, Arizona; and are part of private and corporate collections.
